We're proud to have awarded student scholarships each year since 1997 to deserving young people studying our favorite subjects!

Scholarships for Students Studying Advertising and Marketing

For many people, achieving the dream of attending college means overcoming the challenge of paying for books, housing, supplies, tuition, and even food.

In 1997, we established the Dan Stiel/Market Logic Marketing & Advertising Scholarship exclusively for exceptional students in need who are attending Long Beach City College studying Advertising or Marketing.

Long Beach City College students receive a top-notch college experience that can prepare them for successful transfer to a four-year university. However, fully 52% of students attending LBCC come from households with annual incomes below the poverty line.

We've seen first-hand numerous times how even modest financial support, including our scholarships, can literally make a difference in many student's lives.

History of Long Beach City College

One of over 100 community colleges in California, Long Beach City College was founded in 1927. Long Beach City College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

LBCC has established a reputation for excellence from its first years. The college's award-winning Viking Explorer program, featuring underwater robotics technology, is an example of how the college is providing curriculum that is relevant and current.

LBCC's state-of-the-art commercial music program has been featured by Apple Computer in national advertising.

Long Beach City College

Long Beach City College offers tours to community groups and prospective students. Campus tours are conducted by students who study, work, and volunteer time at LBCC.
