Professional Experience:
Dan Stiel started his career in market research and
expanded his expertise in product development, advertising and brand management, sales, and direct marketing.
Dan holds a significant and well-recognized track
record in developing and driving profitable marketing and customer acquisition, activation, usage, product and market
development, retention, and database strategies across a broad range of marketing products and channels.
In addition
to speaking at national marketing conferences on a variety of subjects, Dan has appeared on numerous national and international
news programs over the years including CNN, CBS, NBC, and ABC, as a subject expert in financial services and motorsports marketing.
Education:
Dan Stiel is a graduate of the University of Southern
California School of Business, where he excelled in marketing and finance.
He also attended Long Beach City College, the American
Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing, and the University of California, Irvine, accumulating enough credits to earn
a degree in Business, as well as Certificates in Bank Marketing and Public Relations, respectively.
Sports Marketing:
Dan
spent over 15 years volunteering his time in media relations and organizing world championship off-shore
powerboat racing, Formula One and Champ auto racing, developing his marketing and public relations skills working with the
world's greatest motorsports legends, journalists, sponsors, and team owners.
He created and produced a number of international motorsports
television shows, including programming for CBS Sports International and the predecessor to Fox Sports, and countless
high-profile motorsports media events.
His additional professional sports marketing experience
includes developing and implementing client sponsorship programs and promotions for some of the biggest and most
popular special events on the planet:
- World Cup Soccer
- Summer Olympics
- NASCAR Nextel Cup
- Bassmaster Tour
- Champ Car Auto Racing
- Innumerable participant events such as triathlons,
marathons, and cycling events
- Major Fairs and Festivals
Favorite Hobbies:
When Dan is not helping his team and clients create
and implement innovative and record-smashing marketing campaigns, he's spending time with his wife, Sonya, friends and family,
driving his Corvette Z06 in sports car rallies, or traveling to one of his favorite getaway vacation destinations.

A few of Dan's favorite and most memorable new product launches and marketing successes he and
his teams have created include (in no particular order):
- Converted over 2,100 bank-owned ATMs installed in a retailer's stores to merchant-owned. This increased profitability
to the merchant by millions annually (Circle K Stores - 2006)
- Launched world's first co-branded instant-issue prepaid MasterCard (Circle K Stores - 2006)
- Launched a successful fine art gallery & contemporary furniture studio business (Abetica - 2006)
- Co-Founder of one of the largest juried Fine Art Festival shows in the United States (Pinnacle Hills Promenade
Art Festival - 2007)
- Created and launched many then-innovative new financial services products including ATMs, money market accounts, debit
cards into numerous independent and major banks (1978 - 1986)
- Led the team that launched the first Visa Check bank signature debit card in California (First Interstate
Bank of California - 1992)
- Re-wrote the rules on Home Equity Lines of Credit marketing increasing market share to one of the largest,
while improving profitability (First Interstate Bank - 1986)
- Founding Member of the Long Beach Grand Prix, one of the largest motorsports events in the world (1975 -
1986)
- Transformed a small annual powerboat race into an internationally acclaimed extreme sports event attracting
40,000 spectators, more than 100 international competitors, and extensive global media coverage (Catalina Ski Race)
- Installed "pay-at-the-pump" convenience in over 4,000 gas stations (Union 76 - 1995)
- Created a comprehensive trademark licensing program for the famous Union 76 Orange Ball that enhanced trademark
protection for this iconic advertising symbol, while generating millions of dollars in fee income; helped place the
"76 Ball" in movie roles including Jurassic Park II - The Lost World, Lethal Wepon IV, The Postman, and others (1995 - 2004)
